DOLPHIN WATCHING TOUR

We will departure from playa Puerto Angelito. Our guides will tell you what needs to be done while we are in our way out.  The tour is about 3 hours long. Our boat has shade, seats, life jackets, VHF radio, cell phone coverage, GPS, and experienced guides.

First we will take you all along  the east coast of Puerto Escondido, sharing with you what the natives, our ancestors,  have told us about this beautiful area. Once we get to Zicatela point, we will run offshore  about 4 to 8 miles (6-13 kilometers) to find school of dolphins, sea turtles, sea rays, and flying fish.  We could also see mobula rays.

Once we  find a group of dolphins, we will get close to  them, so you can see them  up close. Dolphins are very sociable and intelligent. If you want you can bring  your snorkeling  gear and go for a swim with  them!  You cant touch them, they are wild dolphins, but they are not aggressive. They love our company. It’s all about being  one on one with them in nature!

Our guides will explain about dolphin’s lives and their behavior, and will share with you what we have learned from the dolphins. We could see from 50 to 2,000 dolphins.

After we have experienced the dolphins, we will return to the west coast, showing  you more beautiful beaches north and west of Puerto Escondido. Our tour will end  at Playa Puerto Angelito.

Dolphin watching 50 usd per person in a group trip up to 8 person.

Private boat will be 5,500 MXN. for up to 6 person, private trip.
